Medieval Archaeological Complex of Perperikon, Kardzhali town

The municipality project of Kardzhali town is part of “Programme Regional Development” and includes reconstruction in the archaeological complex “Perperikon”. The pedestrian network is improved and thanks to recently built wooden stairs, railings and paths visitors are enabled to explore the complex in the most convenient way. Uvix Impregnation EOOD was assigned to treat all wooden components for the complex.

Pressure timber treatment with water-based Tanatone® wood preservative.
Treated timber components are coniferous and are timber certificated in accordance to EN 599-1, EN 351-1 for Use class IV (direct soil or fresh water contact), defined by standard EN 335-1.
The timber components are protected against decay, insects and atmospheric influences.
